Computer…less

Starting tomorrow, I will be computer-less. I have to turn in my laptop to my old job and I won’t get a new one until I start the new job. It will be very tough for this digital native to go back to reading newspapers and using phonebooks to handle the move and organization of my change.

I am hoping to get a new iPhone when those are ready but those are a long way off and I am not sure I can wait. I will be able to access my Google email from my phone but that’s about it.

I am deleting all my files tonight. My laptop has been running Vista on it for a year and I know the techies in the district aren’t happy with me for that. Ah well…someone had to test it out. I managed to not only run Vista but get Novell running on it.

Good times. Great computer. Good bye.

If you are in the old place, my Groupwise email will not be working anymore. I had them delete my account because I am a CHRONIC email checker and I didn’t want to be tempted to read emails from the old place.

Its hard to say goodbye so I will just say…see you at NECC!
